Mobile App Development in Nepal
I develop Android and cross-platform mobile applications that talk to real backends — authentication, data storage, APIs. If you need an app for your business, service or idea that actually works in people's hands, that's the work.
What I build
- Business and service apps — booking, ordering, tracking, information: your service in your customer's pocket
- API-connected apps — apps backed by a secure REST API with proper authentication and data sync
- Cross-platform builds — one codebase for Android and iOS when that's the pragmatic choice
- App-to-web products — an app that shares data and logic with your website or dashboard (see my full stack service)
The backend question
Most useful apps are windows onto a backend. Because I build those backends too (Django + PostgreSQL), you don't need to hire one team for the app and another for the server. The API, the app and the data model are designed together, which avoids the classic mismatch where the app expects data the backend doesn't cleanly provide.
Honest scope
What I don't build: games, AR filters, or apps that are really just marketing animations. If what you need is a mobile-friendly website rather than an app — which is often the cheaper, better answer — I'll tell you that too. See web development for comparison.
Where I work
Based in Lahan, Nepal; working with clients in Kathmandu and nationwide, plus remote founders. App testing especially benefits from local users — and Nepal's mobile-first internet makes real-device testing non-negotiable.
Frequently asked questions
Android native or cross-platform?
Depends on the product. For most business apps, a cross-platform approach reaches both Android and iOS affordably. If you specifically need deep native Android capabilities, I'll say so during scoping.
Do you also build the backend?
Yes — that's my strength: Django REST APIs with PostgreSQL, including authentication and push-notification readiness. You get one developer accountable for the whole product.
Can you publish the app to stores?
I prepare the release builds and walk you through store submission. Store accounts and developer fees stay under your name and your control.
How do we test the app during development?
You'll install working builds on real phones early and often — feedback from actual usage, not screenshots.
Have an app idea?
Tell me what the app should do and who uses it. I'll tell you whether an app is even the right tool — and what it would take.
